We Invite You To Take This Step Of Faith With Us

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process by which adults enter the Catholic Church. It is a journey of faith that leads to the reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist, allowing individuals to fully participate in the life of the Church.

RCIA is for:

  • Those who have never been baptized and wish to become Catholic.
  • Those baptized in another Christian tradition who seek full communion with the Catholic Church.
  • Baptized Catholics who have not received the Sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist.

Through prayer, study, and reflection, RCIA helps participants deepen their relationship with God and understand the teachings of the Church.

How to Join RCIA?

If you feel called to explore the Catholic faith or complete your Sacraments of Initiation, we invite you to begin this journey with us.

All are welcome! Whether you are just beginning to explore or are ready to take the next step, we are here to support and guide you.

FAQs About RCIA

  1. Do I have to be baptized to join RCIA?
No. RCIA is for both the unbaptized and baptized Christians who wish to enter full communion with the Catholic Church.
  2. How long does RCIA take?
The process typically lasts several months, beginning in the fall and culminating at Easter. However, each person’s journey is unique, and some may need more time.
  3. Can I attend RCIA just to learn more about Catholicism?
Absolutely! There is no obligation to become Catholic. RCIA is an opportunity for anyone interested in learning about the Catholic faith.
  4. What if I’ve already been baptized in another Christian church?
If you have been baptized in a Trinitarian formula (“in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”), you will not be re-baptized but will prepare to receive Confirmation and the Eucharist.
  5. What if I’m an adult Catholic who never received Confirmation?
You are welcome to join RCIA to prepare for Confirmation.
